Diagnostics

Technology in vehicles has evolved over a relatively short period of time, they now include many different systems to optimize performance, economy and safety. These include EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection), ABS (Anti-skid Braking System), SRS (Supplementary Restraint System) just to name a few. In a modern vehicle virtually everything is controlled by an electronic control unit (computer) and each system includes many sensors, actuators and wiring to make it all work.
All this technology is great until a problem occurs; this will normally (but not always) be indicated by a warning light on the dashboard. This is where Wenzlick Automotive come in. We are very well equipped with the latest scan tools, scope and information to competently diagnose electronic faults. It is also something we are passionate about and pride ourselves on being one of the best in the business, not only on Nissan and Hyundai but on most makes and models including European vehicles.
We have built a strong reputation as a diagnostic specialist within the trade. Because of our extensive knowledge/experience and specialist equipment we frequently diagnose faults for other workshops around the Thames / Coromandel peninsula area.
There are normally two scenarios when a fault occurs and you bring your vehicle to us. The first is when the fault is present when we test the vehicle. Normally this is relatively easy to diagnose and we can give you an answer fairly quickly.
The second scenario is when the fault is intermittent. These types of faults can be more difficult to diagnose. If after a fault code check and check of relative components (based on information about the fault from you) we have not made a diagnosis we will discuss with you the best approach for us to locate the fault.
